Inherited Exiles
‘Inherited Exiles’ attempts
to understand my family’s foreign heritage, the stories that have been lost to
the past and those that are new to emerge. Grappling with the impossibilities
of memory and the role that photography has in preserving and failing such recollections,
I use a historical analogue camera as a tool to better understand the
complexities of the relationships around me.
